Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Emerging Zoonotic and Infectious Diseases (NCEZID); Division of Vector-borne Diseases (DVBD); Arboviral Diseases Branch (ADB). Dr. Connelly leads a team of experts focused on public health entomology applied research, control, and response in the area of vector surveillance and control within the framework of existing and emerging arboviral diseases. Responsible for planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of entomological/vector surveillance and control programs developed and conducted collaboratively between CDC and national and international partner organizations and associations with the overall goal of reducing the burden of vector-borne viral diseases in the United States.
